Patrice's Story
In 2017 after many years working in Marketing and Strategic Sales for companies like Google and Microsoft Patrice left her 16-year Corporate career behind. She wanted to find more meaningful work and live a slower-paced, lifestyle with her young family. By 2019 she qualified as a Health and Life Coach and moved her family from urban France to a small town in central Portugal. There she began working with clients worldwide, to help them ditch the life they fell into living and purposefully create the life they truly desired.
While life in Portugal was wonderful, after 3 years, Patrice and her husband Luc realized that key components of their vision for their ideal life were missing. At the top of their desire list was a like-minded community, which they hadn't found living in rural Portugal.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, it was the perfect pause for them to re-evaluate. While the World was undergoing a global reset, they spent hours researching online, following the breadcrumbs, and dreaming up a new plan that involved adventuring further afield.
In June 2021 they sold their belongings and headed off to explore Costa Rica with nothing but a few suitcases and hearts filled with hope and excitement. After spending a month traveling around the country, they knew this was the home they had been searching for.
3 years on, Patrice and her family treasure the life they have carved out for themselves in the Southern zone of Costa Rica. They have forged deep friendships with like-minded families, their son is thriving in an alternative schooling environment and they have grown closer as a family. Their Costa Rican adventure has helped them embrace a simpler, slower-paced, and healthier life. They love being immersed in lush jungles and interacting with awe-inspiring wildlife every day, from hummingbirds to Toucans, monkeys, and bright blue Morpho butterflies, it never gets old.
Patrice now shares her experience, knowledge, and wisdom with others seeking to create their ideal life.
